A big event from me this morning. I presented to my first Vistage CEO group. For those of you who have not heard of Vistage, it is a community of CEO's that come together in small groups to meet, talk, share and debate. There's a really interesting article on CIO.com with Ross Mayfield, the co-founder of Socialtext. In it, he talks about how wikis can end 'Reply-All' email threads.Luis Suarez of IBM has taken it a step further, and on 15th February gave up on work related email. The idea would be that he would refuse to respond or initiate email communication and would instead communicate via social networking tools such as those provided internally by IBM. Interesting article about web marketing on the BBC news site over the weekend about how the internet is increasingly being used for smart marketing such as using games, paid blogging and social network marketing strategies.The key point for me and what we do at Trovus is helping companies understand how users are engaging with the web and finding the best ways to position messages and understand browser behaviour around the web.I still marvel at the fact that the web is only 10-15 years old in its commercial form and in that time, it has gone from zero mind share and...
